Lauren Layfield is an up and coming performing artist that is currently a senior at West Morris Central HS in Chester, NJ. Originally from Shelton, Connecticut, she began singing to audiences at the age of six. After coming to New Jersey, she was discovered by Entertainment Entrepreneur, Chris Lance of Paladin Entertainment, Inc. After taking up the habit of song writing, Lauren composed "Your Lies" now available worldwide on iTunes and Google Play.

Singing isn't Lauren's only talent. She has acted in local productions including The Journey at Trinity Methodist Church as Mary. Lauren commanded the lead in the West Morris Central HS hit Evita where she played Eva Perón. Her flawless performances at each of the 4 sold out shows brought the house down and earned her standing ovations every time! During the spring of 2015 Lauren performed the lead role of Hope Cladwell in the musical Urinetown. Her other credits include Theatre in the Making's Spring Awakening where she performed the role of Anna and in the musical Aida she played Nehebka.  Lauren has co-directed two plays at her high school:  The Crucible and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Lauren has been singing at several local churches where she astonishes crowds. She has performed with the Trinity Methodist Church in Hackettstown, NJ, has been a soloist with the Church of the Messiah Choir in Chester, NJ and at the St. Mark's Invitational Christmas Concerts in Long Valley. Lauren has performed as a featured soloist with the Stone Soup Symphony at Sussex County Community College.
