About Paladin Knight Pictures
In 2001, our Production Services Department
was created to support filming of our annual
Medieval Festival Productions.
In 2004, we expanded our services to include live
video taping and audio recording of concerts for
various organizations.
By 2010, the group formed the Film Division and
expanded its inventory of professional cameras,
drones, lighting and audio equipment, providing
video services to individuals and organizations.
In 2016 after filming the dark, surreal,
independent full feature "Buffalo Diamonds,"
Director Chris Lance turned to a lighter theme,
"Missouri Loves Company.”
Since 2018, Paladin Knight Pictures, in
conjunction with Strand Studios, our educational
division, has helped students write, produce,
direct and edit their own films. “The Strong
Friend” by Gabre-Ana Ruthland and currently,
“Watch Your Back” by Brian Cianci.
In 2024, writer Christopher Saam joined the team
to write several shorts currently in production.
Also in production is a music video by The
Paladin Knight.
Chris Lance
Entertainment Entrepreneur
Chris Lance’s first attempt at film making
was at 10 when he made a stop-animation
film with toy dinosaurs. His interests quickly
expanded to horror films and bribed his
older cousins to star in "The Exterminator",
a home movie complete with dummies
falling out of windows! Although he
received his Bachelor of Music and Master
of Science in Music Technology, Chris
always had a love for movies, spending
hours - and a lot of dollars - at the movie
theaters.
He attended several community colleges for
acting and later, the Lee Strasberg Institute
in New York where he improved his craft.
Chris gained a lot of experience on set by
being an extra on OZ, Law and Order, and
several films including Serendipity. He
expanded his film making skills by studying
at the New York Film Academy.
Since 2001, Chris has developed and grown
Paladin Knight Pictures.
As Producer, Director, Writer and Actor,
Chris enjoys being behind as well as in front
of the camera.
